Aero Precision's AR-15 Gen 2 Stripped Lower Receiver is the perfect base for your custom AR-15 build. Machined to mil-spec dimensions, Aero's lowers work with standard AR-15 components and ensure the highest quality with a correct component interface.

Gen 2 Improvements:

• Upper Tension Screw - Allows users to fine tune the fit of the upper and lower receiver through the use of a nylon tipped tensioning set screw inserted in the grip tang of the lower receiver. This provides a tight fit with any standard AR-15 upper receiver.
• Increased Magwell Flare - Allows for easier insertion of magazines and provides a sleeker look.

I bought quite a few of these lowers and they were shipped out pretty quickly...within 48 hours I believe. This was right after the shooting in Florida so they were swamped with business so that is pretty impressive. Overall I would be very happy to buy from The Armory again and I love all of Aero Precision's products so I will definitely buy there stuff in the future.

The only negative is that their website was not showing the proper amount of lowers in stock. I bought the remaining amount and then 10 minutes later more showed up as in stock so I purchased them. This created (2) orders. I called them and let them know that they could ship it in 1 box, which they did. I also asked them to reduce the shipping charges because it should not have been 2 separate orders. I tried to explain this to them in the email but I don't think it got through and therefore I was charged shipping for both orders. Again, I will be happy to order from them in the future.

Great quality for a low price. Was able to buy two because if price. I'm in California and quickly coming up on the semi auto rifle ban. Was looking everywhere for these. Couldn't find them anywhere. The Armory had them in stock. They processed and shipped to my local FFL quickly, and with minimal work from me. Buy with confidence.

Best Lower to Build On 04/12/2015

These Aero lowers are by far the best AR-15 lower to use as start for your AR build. The roll marks are clean and aesthetically pleasing, the lower is 100% in spec and the threaded detent hole is a nice touch. Yeah Anderson lowers are cheaper but the finish is no where near as clean and they have an obnoxious roll mark logo.

Handled & put together a number of lowers. These Aero lower are my favorite. A lot of folks think that billet is stronger but in fact it is more prone to cracks under severe circumstances vs the T6 forging from 7075 aluminum. Aero has really good quality control & I have had no issues. I will keep buying.

This lower is a great deal. I bought one after seeing my buddies completed build with the same lower. Put my AR together with a Del-ton upper and the fit is nice and snug. If I were in the market for another I would buy the same one and definitely recommend it to anyone.
