45 GAP Ammo

Commonly referred to as .45 GAP, the .45 G.A.P. (Glock Automatic Pistol) round was designed to match the power of the .45 ACP and have a shorter length in order to fit in compact handguns. At the request of Glock, engineer Ernest Durham designed the round, designing it to have a stronger case head in order to reduce the likelihood of case neck blowouts.
