Super Function and Quality Without the Cost 11/13/2020
By Covert Taco
I wish I'd had this available before I purchased the Sig Sauer Ambi Mag Catch because this works more efficiently with less effort, than the Sig version. The UTG is actually more "extended," making the ergonomics brilliantly smooth with flawless operation. The right side has the option of the either standard mil-spec button you're used to, or an extension tab that screws onto the button, all without having to pay extra! While Sig is good, this is much better, IMHO.
The ONLY possible knock on this would be that, because of the thickness, I find it does SLIGHTLY interfere with the small, mil-spec bolt catch button. This becomes a non-issue after a little practice because the functionality grossly outweighs this issue. It's also easily solved with a Strike Industries Bolt Catch.
Whether you're a right or left handed shooter, this really is one of the best functioning and most affordable mag releases out there- you'll NOT be disappointed
