Made of steel with a tough powder coated finish, this safe will secure your gun with a keyed lock. Padded with a soft foam on the interior, you can rest assured that your gun won't rattle around and get dinged up. The Steel cable used to secure it to your vehicle is coated in a tough rubber to prevent scratches and damage to where ever you secure it to. The slim profile will allow you to slide the safe under your car seat out of view. The simple keyed lock vs an electronic lock means you'll never have to worry about a dead battery...or an EMP blast?
For those times where you can't enter a building with a firearm, have the peace of mind that your gun will be protected by this safe using the vehicle securing cable. This steel cable is designed to be wrapped around your car seat rail - or any other sold fixed point in your car - then locked into place when you shut the lid. So even if someone grabs the safe, it'll be tethered to your mounting point. Watch the instructional video at the bottom of this page for a step by step guide on how you can secure it to your car.
This kit includes two dry wall anchors and screws. This allows a versatile number of mounting options outside of just on the wall. This gives you the ability to mount on a bedside nightstand, under a table, or wherever you want. The back of the safe is pre-drilled for the mount kit.
The TSA guidelines for transporting an unloaded firearms states a "locked hard-sided container that cannot be easily opened". This portable safe satisfies this requirements but as always, reach out to the TSA Contact Center before travelling as regulations and guidelines can change.
