Have shot only about 400 rounds through it and it’s functioned great. Fair price and great customer service with the-Armory. Perfect size 1911 for me and I’m happy to get a steel frame and not an alloy frame. The little bit of additional weight with the steel frame isn’t a bad thing to me and is more durable. Get the o-rings that go on the grip panel screws. Well worth a few bucks at a hardware store to keep them tight. As with all Kimbers, they’re stingy and only give one magazine. Get some additional kimpro tac-mags or Wilson combat magazines. Both are great.
