Great for the price 11/14/2015
By Jshep
If your looking for a low priced durable 1911 pistol then this is the perfect 1911 for you. My gun range has one as a rental and they state that theirs won't die, they've had 1,000's and 1,000's of rounds through it and it's never caused them any problem. It has a couple wanted upgrades (trigger, hammer, ambi safety, beavertail safety, sights) that usually get installed after purchase which is awesome since I didn't have to spend more money. My only negative is the finish on the barrel. At first glance/pictured, it appears to be stainless steel, but once you have it in hand you will see that it has just been polished at the ejection port. I replaced mine with a threaded stormy barrel for obvious reasons. Pistol shoots great and I've had no complaints when it comes to function.

Just want you to know that the gun I purchased shoots great and looks to be made with very high quality. Right out of the box the gun shot three inch groups at 25 yds. I am now a fan of your product.

Awesome price and awesome gun 03/07/2016
By Timothy Krieg
Was the best price I found with all the upgrades that I planned on doing to the gun for way less. I was going to buy the base.model of the rock island armory 45. And then do all the up grades which would of cost me close to $200 plus $389.. for the gun. And this gun was already out fitted with the parts for $444. It was such a good deal I bought it could. Can't wait to take it out. Good company too. fast and it.was what was advertised.

Great 03/06/2016

This gun really is love at first shot. After two years of research and debating I finally decided to buy a rock island 1911. After shooting it I'm glad that I did! It is a great price point for a gun that could be sold for double. Well worth it... It would be a mistake not to buy one
