Wolf's "GOLD" line of 223 ammo uses a BRASS casing with a BOXER primer that is fully reloadable. The projectile is a copper jacketed lead core bullet and this ammo is 100% non-corrosive.

Ammo Can Details: 1 Used/Issued Milspec PA120 Ammo Can. These are genuine US Made [NOT made in China knock-offs]. Again they are also used/issued and have been fielded so they WILL have blemishes/scratches and may have minor rust but still work and seal just fine - Adds Character! Markings and condition will be random.

Great .223 REM value w/ammo can 09/16/2015

Good new production .223 REM ammo with standard re-loadable brass casings, standard boxer primers, and standard copper jacketed, lead bullets. No weird aluminum or steel casings, no berdan primers, nor mixed metal bullets (or bullet jackets) that can be magnetized.
I've only been through 200 rounds so far but have not had any problems whatsover.
Ammo was sealed in original mfr's corrugated carton and was packed inside the PA120 ammo can, which is used but in very good condition- no rust, and both latches work and seal properly.
The whole thing was shipped in another discrete corrugated box that fit the ammo can precisely.
Everything arrived in fine condition.
This was my first purchase from The Armory and it was handled very well. Communication was good, and shipping was on time. I would buy this and buy from The Armory again without hesitation.

I've always avoided Wolf brand ammo like the plague, but finally they are importing something excellent in quality and price. I can't be 100% this is really Taiwanese NATO-spec 5.56 just marked as .223, but it performs like 5.56. Have shot around 500rds already and a buddy at least 300rds though three different AR's. It's been 100%, the guns aren't anywhere near undergassed/short stroking from this, which supports it being 5.56, and the bullet and primers are sealed (great if storing it or bringing it into out in adverse conditions). Cannot get enough of this stuff, and I've been ordering case after case.

I wanted to Thank everyone there because I couldn't be Happier than I am over this purchase. Great price on ammo that has performed flawlessly so far. The ammo can was packaged super so no one would be aware of its contents & ive seen issued steel ammo cans & no way was this out in the field. It looks brand new not a scratch dent or rust to be found. It seals up tight & locks down solid. I will be placing additional orders in other calibers because I'm so happy w/ the fast ship out & wonderful products. Thank you again

I have not had time to shoot this batch yet (but have used Wolf Gold before.) Great ammo at a great price. Shoots well in all of my .223 rifles. I have both ARs and Minis. I have fired hundreds of rounds of Wolf gold without a problem. Feeds reliably and fires clean. Nice brass for the re-loaders. The accuracy is probably better than my abilities.

It was received quickly and packed well. The ammo can was another bonus. Would definitely buy again and The Armory was top notch. Thank you.

Great deal on good ammo & cans 09/18/2015

Great deal on Wolf Gold in 40mm grenade cans. Exactly what I expected. Boxes came shipped inside cardboard, ammo cases packed inside cans with extra padding. Each can holds 2,500rds of 5.56 nicely. All the ammo looked good as I filled the cans. Only negative was a bit of oil on the outside of the cans, but it wiped of decently enough with just a paper towel. As always, fast service and shipping from The Amory.
