As shooters, eye sight is essential, but hearing is often neglected. Having tinitis (constant ringining in your ears) 20 years down the road is not the right time to decide that ear protection was necessary. The Armory carries essential items ranging from cheap and disposable Silencio inner-ear foamies to Howard Leight Leightning 31 earmuffs with 31dB NRR. For those who desire slimmer profile muffs or like to hear conversations (important for instructors!) on the range, the Dillon Precision HP1 electronic hearing protector might be what you need. Most shooters use eyewear, but how many wear premium, high-quality glasses? If you haven't tried some yet, I recommend you do--it makes all the difference in the world in your shooting. When your target is clear and bright, shooting seems so much easier. When you're not fighting the temple-squeeze headache, shooting seems so much more enjoyable. Wiley-X is some of the best I have tried and they are always a part of my shooting kit. The interchangeable lenses of the PT-2 series can really maximize your shooting flexibility.
