Over 10 years of hard use
I purchased my Kimber Custom II right here from The Armory a little over 10 years ago. It was my very first handgun. I have well over 15000 rounds through it now (recorded 10000) and it just keeps on going. Aside from the first few rounds I put through it in 2007 (with the stock mag), I have had no malfunctions so far, even when filthy.

The gun has been used as a personal CCW weapon AND as a duty weapon. It has proven to go bang every time I want it to and is the least problematic handgun I own now. The Armory still has one of the best prices Ive seen on a Custom II and Im glad it has not changed much.

We did a review on my Kimber not too long ago. If you want to check it out, the link is below. Buy with confidence!

Loving my Kimber in Colorado!
I just want to thank everyone at THE ARMORY for a smoothe purchasing experience. I live in Colorado and they were so efficient at transferring my new 1911 out here! And what an AWESOME PISTOL. This kimber is accurate. Minimal kick. No jams. Great purchase for years of great range shooting to come!!!

Finest in 30+ years
This is one of the finest weapons I have owned in my 30+ years of owning and carrying them. Accuracy and action is flawless from the factory. However, the trigger was a bit heavy for my liking. Unfortunately, Kimber would not bring the trigger down to where I demand (2.75#'s) even for my carry weapons. Contrary to popular opinion, my accuracy under stress suffers significantly above 3.5#'s. The quality overall was impeccable overall. Other than the trigger, which is my preference only, I have had ZERO issues in well over a year. I have the stainless and it is a beautiful looking weapon!

Kimber Custom II
This is one of the finest "out of the box" handgun I've ever purchased. Sadly I did not go through this company and I live in CA. which might be an issue. It is quite equal with Sig Sauer or Para Ordnance, if not better. These are all very fine top of the line guns. Kimber has a great reputation which is completely justly deserved. The "only" thing I could possibly do to improve this gun is a very, very fine "trigger job"; any other work would be for "looks", not function. If you are looking for a great 1911 .45 A.C.P. pick a Kimber, you will be very pleased.
