IVE BEEN SHOOTING GLOCKS FOR A WHILE NOW AND SHOT THE G17 ON ONE OCCASION WHEN I RENTED ONE A WHILE BACK....THEN IT WAS A TOSS UP BETWEEN THE BERETTA 92A1 , THE S&W M&P 9 , OR THE G17........AFTER HOLDING THE OTHER PISTOLS THE G17 JUST FEELS LIKE IT WAS MADE FOR YOUR HAND....AND WITH A 17 ROUND MAG IT WAS BY FAR THE ONE FOR ME TO BUY.....THE OTHERS WERE JUST TOO BULKY FOR ME......AND AFTER SHOOTING IT TODAY ONLY 5 HOURS AFTER BUYING THE G17RTF2 I WAS LIKE A KID EATING CHOCOLATE, THERE JUST WASNT ENOUGH AMMO !.....GREAT WEAPON, SUPERIOR ACCURACY, LIGHT AND COMFORTABLE.
None better (5/5) Apr 21, 2006 C Parrish Dothan AL US
Trust me...Glock is the only way to go. This is the second 9MM I have owned. Decided to trade my cheaper Ruger style in and am so happy I did. Cleaning the Glock is simple and I am much more accurate now. The saying goes you get what you pay for. Spend the little extra money to get a true pistol.

This is a superb glock handgun, accurate, reliable and very easy to maintain. I am now considering buying a .40 s&w cal version as well.
There is no other choice for me Glock is the way forward.
The choice is obvious (5/5) Dec 5, 2005 Dan Fillmore Springfield MO US
This Glock handgun is without question the most accurate, reliable, and duriable weapon I have ever owned. If you are considering buying a handgun, Glock is the only choice.
GLOCK IS IT !!! (5/5) May 7, 2006 David Pearland Tx
I got rid of my Berretta Cougar 9000 after shooting it for the first time. Gun jammed like no tommorow. Borrowed my instructor's G17 and that all it took. Went out and buy G17 and G19 next day. I now owned G26 for concealment..BEST IS GLOCK..
Too Jumpy! (2/5) Apr 18, 2007 Dr. Michael Lim Bedok SG
I have found the Glock to be vey jumpy, that is, the muzzle jump on firing is very high so it is hard to bring it down again on target, even with a two hand grip. I prefer the Sig Sauer P226 or the Heckler & Koch P8 pistol to the Glock. I also don't like th bulky, chunky shape, not so nice for concealed carrying.
All Glocks (5/5) Nov 22, 2006 Gerry G. Lim Egg Harbor Township NJ US
I have have handled every major semi-automatic handguns out there. I would say the Glock line is the finest I have ever handled. Ease of operation and maintenance. Could handle all sort s of ammunition. Easy to learn, I recommend it to my friends as a first time buyer. They are all please with the simplicity of the firearm. I have yet to meet a person who will disagree with me on this issue. Thank you very much.

To the person who posted the "Too Jumpy" review: What, are you new? These are some of the most smooth firing pistols in the world. It is no wonder almost all LEO's (my best friend is a Seattle Police Officer and has 4 Glocks) and militaries use these! Maybe man up and do some wrist exercises Dr Michael Lim. Anyway, I am a DEDICATED Glock man and EASILY carry my G-17 concealed. Highly recommend these pistols!
