Plastic Perfection (5/5) | Feb 21, 2006 | C Woods | UK |
This is a superb glock handgun, accurate, reliable and very easy to maintain. I am now considering buying a .40 s&w cal version as well. There is no other choice for me Glock is the way forward. |

G17 (and G19) (5/5) | Dec 2, 2009 | RAF | Te US |
These two pistols have improved my shooting tremendously. They have no perceptible recoil "bounce" which allows me to stay on target for rapid-fire shooting. My only problem with the G17 is wrestling it away from my wife who thinks it is the most controllable handgun she's ever fired. No better firearm in my estimation when considering maintenance, accuracy and reliability. A genuine value for sure

Too Jumpy! (2/5) | Apr 18, 2007 | Dr. Michael Lim | Bedok SG |
I have found the Glock to be vey jumpy, that is, the muzzle jump on firing is very high so it is hard to bring it down again on target, even with a two hand grip. I prefer the Sig Sauer P226 or the Heckler & Koch P8 pistol to the Glock. I also don't like th bulky, chunky shape, not so nice for concealed carrying.

G17 (5/5) | Nov 24, 2009 | M. Terry | Blacksburg VA US |
Firstly, let me say that I AM a Glock fan. I demand flawless performance from any firearm and Glock always delivers, no questions. Let's face it, when your life depends on your choice of defensive firearm...Glock IS the best. The G17 was the first handgun that I had ever purchased, and I do like it. That being said, there are some points that I should have considered more carefully before purchasing this pistol. The first one being this pistol was purchased for concealed carry. Big pistol for this purpose. The grip printing like crazy is a real issue as well. Fully loaded and weighing about 2 lbs, even in an IWB holster...pretty heavy by the end of the day. Plus I like 2 extra mags on me as well...it adds up. Next, Ive fallen in love with the .45 cal sub compact model...wish I had bought that one first...So I guess it fair to say that because there are so many models available, choose carefully and consider what uses this firearm is going to be used for. Anyone out there want to trade? |

None better (5/5) | Apr 21, 2006 | C Parrish | Dothan AL US |
Trust me...Glock is the only way to go. This is the second 9MM I have owned. Decided to trade my cheaper Ruger style in and am so happy I did. Cleaning the Glock is simple and I am much more accurate now. The saying goes you get what you pay for. Spend the little extra money to get a true pistol.

All Glocks (5/5) | Nov 22, 2006 | Gerry G. Lim | Egg Harbor Township NJ US |
I have have handled every major semi-automatic handguns out there. I would say the Glock line is the finest I have ever handled. Ease of operation and maintenance. Could handle all sort s of ammunition. Easy to learn, I recommend it to my friends as a first time buyer. They are all please with the simplicity of the firearm. I have yet to meet a person who will disagree with me on this issue. Thank you very much. |
