Bought this gun during a Black Friday sale in 2013. Added an after-market Magpul pistol grip, and an after-market muzzle break (cannot remember the name). I must say that after 7 years the rifle had held out tremendously. Never had a misfire, jam, etc. Very solid build, and it looks good too. It is much cheaper st the moment than what I picked it up for seven years ago. If you are looking at this rifle, lindsay go for it. You won't be dissapointed!

Sure. It all sounds good. I.O. employees veterans, makes the product wholly in the USA and has a lifetime warranty against defects. Great! The problem is that the reviews are correct. The gun (company) has issues. My particular issue was a failing of the trigger to cycle fully right out of the box and the bolt failed to hold open after final round on a number of occasions. No problem. Cheap mags and a new gun. I took it home, cleaned it up, bought new mags and tried it again. Same results. Again no problem. I’ll contact I.O. to see if there is a quick fix. Negative. The lady at “customer service “ who sounded like all she does is take returns, was unable to provide any assistance other than “go to the website and fill out an RMA”. I’d be ok with this option except, the customer pays shipping both ways. For a brand new gun with a defect. Not a company you probably want to do business with... believe the reviews.

This is my first AK-47 rifle I've bought so I don't have too much to compare it to but I will say it has run 100%. Ran 700 rounds in one range session and it didn't skip a beat, no malfunctions. It just got really hot but that's my fault! Finish is better than my buddies AK rifles and the it just feels solid.
