After trying several various ammo in FMJ and JHP+P's in my Kimber Ultra CPD 1911 .45 ACP compact I purchased
the Corbon DPX 160gr. Compact .45ACP Ammo, as I had read a lot about this load. After firing several rounds at 15 yards I was very impressed with the controllability, accuracy and functional reliability. The rounds shot to point of aim even using rapid firing without the recoil that I have had with so many other rounds coming out of a 3" barrel. The DPX 160gr. round also had very good penetration and expanded exceptionally well and gave me the best positive results of any other ammo I have tried in a 3" compact .45 ACP! As being a retired law enforcement officer this will be my carry ammo from now on in all 1911's knowing the stopping power and accuracy!
