As you would expect from a +P round they are certainly much more powerful than standard. Fired out of my XD Subcompact and cycled fine but a bit much to hold onto on that small of a frame. Makes a very nice hole in the target.

The 165 gr 45 auto shoots much finer than the various 230 gr loads I've used with my Springfield Longslide. I took it deer hunting this year however did not have the chance to try it on a deer. I had great range experience with the 165 giving tight groups.
