Kimber Stainless Pro Carry II 1911 | 45 ACP | Free Portable Pistol Safe
pro carry hd 204/18/2009 ByShane B I bought this pistol about five years ago not knowing too much about kimber. Since buying this incredible .45, I've shot it many times, placing rounds in the 10 and 9 rings at 15 and 25 yards without problem. The weight forward design, trigger pull and balance are key factors with this pistol. I legally carry it all the time and do trust this pistol with my life. I use wilson combat magazines with 7 rnd capacity. Anyone who says 7 rounds isn't enough, then go buy a 9mm. I'll stay with my big .45.
Kimber Pro Carry 212/27/2008 ByHarry Rountree First 2 shots out of the box Bullseyes both at 50 feet. Feels great in the hand, comes with rubber stocks. Sticks to your hand. I bought Kings mags with rounded followers. Standard mag followers hit the feed ramp didnt lilke that on the aluminum frame. No failures to feed or eject. Next thing to do is try it with 185gr jacketed wadcutters. I like the idea of a 45 cal shoulder to cut a clean hole. Ill give it another star after that test...........
A must have11/18/2008 ByWesley Ray I have had several 1911's,,I even had a gunsmith rework one for me,,the expense of the gun and the work I had done to the gun did'nt even come close to what I experianced in the Kimber right out of the box,,What a wonderful gun!! I'm very excited in owning this gun,,beautiful,,very, very reliable, accurate,Really can't say enough about it,,as I said,,,a must have for any pistol lover,,
Typical Kimber quality!07/28/2008 Bywestcoastcop I have a couple of other .45's...a 1911 Colt Mark IV 70's series Gov't series bought new in satin nicklel...a beautiful, finely crafted, reliable former carry weapon I used for a number of years as a Police sidearm. And a new Glock 21SF. This Kimber, considering Kimber is reletivley a new company...is every bit as well made and a fine shooting weapon! Reliable (2500 rounds so far!) and no misfeeds or hick-ups, solidly crafted and well designed. I can shoot tighter groups than the Glock, and as good as the Colt, which is considered "tack driving" performance. The extra cost of a Kimber makes it a real collectable firearm, that shoots as nice as it looks!
perfect carry gun07/04/2007 ByJason A compact, smooth slide, fires smooth and accurate best 1911 i have owned so far
A must have !12/30/2006 ByRobert H. Probably the best investment I've made in any 1911 handgun. The Pro Carry II is the ultimate in function, fit and overall quality. 9 out of 10, at least.
Kimber Pro Carry11/06/2006 By This is the ultimate in compact lightweight 1911s. The metal work is tight and beautiful. The trigger and rate of fire are astounding. 10 out of 10! I would suggest getting one with the aluminum frame the weight difference is very noticable.
