This bulk Russian 7.62x54R ammo is the hottest and loudest and kickingest ammo out there. Love It. The-Armory is the best place to get it from too.

Just like it looks (5/5) | Mar 12, 2012 | Bob Nichter | Fort Wayne IN US |
Bought the case, no opener anywhere, but I didn't need it. I used a pair of hedge shears / clippers to cut it open. No problems with the bulk 7.62x54r ammo -- fresh ammo in a can, sealed like the day it was born. Nice boom sound when fired.

Just Ordered another case (5/5) | May 5, 2011 | Dana Batty | East Hartford CT US |
I bought the 880 round box of this bulk 7.62x54r ammo over the winter, and was just able to fire off a hundred rounds. Perfect in every way, so just ordered another 880 rounds. If you can get the 880 rounds, the crate is pretty cool to have, then you have the can opener forever.

Looks terrific (5/5) | Mar 1, 2011 | Anonymous | Toledo Oh |
Bought the 440 round can of this bulk 7.62x54r ammo and it looks great. Mine even came with the can opener. Haven't shot it yet, but everything has exceeded expectations so far. Great price and fast shipping.

Love it (5/5) | Jan 26, 2011 | Doug | Cumming Ge US |
I feel sorry for the UPS chick in my neighborhood - I just got 4 more bulk cases of 7.62x54r on the porch and I think I've ordered 9 in total (mebbe 8, who knows). This is great ammo for my Moseys. The ONLY time I EVER had misfires was with a Chinese Type 53 I bought at a gun show and the firing pin wasn't screwed in to where the marks line up right. I had two misfires, pulled the bolt and adjusted it properly, and haven't had a problem since then (except, maybe, my hearing, damn 53 lol). Seriously, except for a maladjusted firing pin on the Type 53 I have never, not even once, had a problem with this ammo. It literally shoots through trees (we've cut a few down that way) The Armory ships it to me quickly and I've never had any problems with any order. If you have a 7.62x54R and want to buy a bunch of inexpensive ammo then this is the place to get it. I haven't found it cheaper anywhere else and you can't beat the service The only bad thing is it's corrosive so you want to swab the barrel with some bore cleaner as soon as you can (or a 50/50 household ammonia/water, which neutralizes the corrosive salts as well as any bore cleaner) |

Mine Came as Silver Tip Review 2 (5/5) | Dec 30, 2010 | John | Biloxi MS US |
I posted a review earlier and mistakenly gave it 3 stars because that was the default selection. I wanted to correct that. It is certainly worth 5 stars. My friend and I have both shot this bulk 7.62x54r ammo in our PSL-54c's and it cycles fine and shoots like it should. Great Ammo, and again, I did get 880 rounds of silver tip. Looks just like the tin in the picture above but with a rectangle silver paint spot.

Mine came as silver tip steel core! YES! (3/5) | Dec 17, 2010 | John | Biloxi Mi US |
I bought 880rnds of this bulk 7.62x54r ammo to split with a friend. We're gona run it through our PSL-54c's. Havent shot it yet but it cycles very well and the rims dont shave into the other cartridges like other russian ammo has done in the past. After researching the silver tip and finding that it is infact steel core, I cut one open to find out for myself and it is infact a very hard steel core. Date stamp appears to say it was manufactured in 73. Ammo cases are super clean and both tins were sealed perfectly. Came with can opener. |

Excellent bulk 7.62x54r ammo at lowest price in the market. You might think lower price means less quality? Not for this ammo. I bought one CT and enjoyed firing over 400 of it so far. No problem and consistent up to 300 yards I've tried them.

Nothing wrong with it! (5/5) | Nov 28, 2011 | Mark Hoffman | Staunton Vi US |
This bulk 7.62x54r ammo is fine. If you are careful, you can use the can opener to open a can of tuna. Nothing like a tuna sandwich at the shooting range while shooting this cheap and very decent ammo! |
