| Kimber Tactical Ultra (5/5) | Aug 17, 2006 | Spanky | Poconos - Pe | |
| Sorry to bust your bubble Trace, but the Tactical Ultra was a mid-year introduction in 2002 and 335 were produced that first year with "fixed white dot sights". They have evolved into the full production model of today with the "Meprolight Tritium 3-dot night sights" and can be found in their latest catalog. Great little piece for everyday carry though. | ||||

| great gun, nice fit, not too much pop for a smalll kinber 45 auto 1911 handgun. Abour 300 rounds with one jam. Finish is a liitle disappointing. Overall my newest best friend. | ||||
| Kimber Ultra Carry Tactical II (5/5) | Aug 12, 2005 | Trace | Te US | |
| Excellent little gun, got mine last weekend. Only 335 made by Kimber so it should hold its value pretty well. The Tritium night sights are crisp and inspire confidence. The alloy frame makes the gun extremely light, yet it still feels very balanced with the slide. This gun is very concealable as it is one of the smallest 1911s available, yet it can be shot with accuracy on par with the fullsized. It is made for dependability and I have yet to have a jam through about 300 rounds of FMJ and 20 rounds of JHP. The price seems steep, but you get what you pay for. | ||||
| Kimber Tactical Ultra II (5/5) | Jan 21, 2006 | Garrick Fernbaugh | Portland OR US | |
| I've fired around 175 rounds through it now, and I believe, it is the nicest little pistol I have ever fired. It does not recoil like you might expect from a .45 auto with a 3 in barrel, in fact its really quite controlable, 20 foot, rapid fire double taps, showed tight grouping. Single fire, 1.5 inch groups at 20 feet were consistant. The trigger pull is no like no other, awesome. This Kimber 1911 45 auto pistol is worth every penny. | ||||

| Superb handgun of the compact variety! When the 3rd round went thru the X ring during my test firing, I knew I had my new carry gun. Excellant performance dependable, and accurate what more could you ask for? | ||||
| KIMBER TACTICAL ULTRA 2 (5/5) | Mar 28, 2009 | YANCEY | MARYVILLE TE US | |
| AWESOME FIREARM. 150 ROUNDS THRU MY NEW CARRY GUN AND NOT ONE MISFEED OR ISSUE. I AM USING KIMBER MAGS AND THE ACCURACY AND DEPENDABLITY IS INCREDIBLE. THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS THAT THE MATTE BLACK FINISH IS ALREADY SHOWING A LITTLE WEAR AT THE EJECTION POINT. | ||||
| Tacticall Ultra II (5/5) | Sep 10, 2009 | Gary | Reno NV US | |
| Size, weight, fit and finish are superb. Accuracy is suprising for a 3" barrel. I'm using the one Kimber mag that came with the gun and two Wilson Combat mags purchased separately. Have not had any feed issues with either. I definately like the ramped mag well in the way it helps reduce fumbling. And,... the Meprolite sites are the best. Only 100 rounds through the gun but can already tell that this will be my primary carry. Thanks Kimber, this is a great tool. | ||||
