Well made and is a great shooter. I use it for concealed carry and some competition. The only problem I have with it is you have to have a break down tool to take it apart. If you are out in the field and have to tear it down you had better have this tool ( a small allen wrench) or a paper clip. If not then you can't tear it down. Other than that this gun is a keeper. | ||||

Kimber Compact S.S. I like the gun however if I had it to do again I think the Pro may have been better for me. I put a Kimber arched S.S. Check.mainspring housing on & homemade thick grips like you see at most shows.I set a gold Mex. peso in them to spice it up.And Nowlin 3-hole hard chrome trigger.Remember this was the first model did a little polishing. It now fits like a glove.I use only Wilson mags. This gun comes sighted for 25 yds. Many do not & I don't like the looks of M.I.M.after the blasted finish wears you are left with a darker color. But I am very picky on cosmetics.Get a Springfield and buy the wife something if you have anything left save for your next toy.Phil in Tejas |
