| Kimber Stainless Gold Match II (5/5) | Jan 7, 2007 | John Davis | Bentonville AR US | |

Nearly perfect execution of the 1911 format. Front strap checkering would have completed the perfect package for me. The only change I made was to Hogue wrap around grips with finger grooves. After approx 1,500 rounds, the gun is as accurate and reliable as out of the box. Zero problems - 100% fun to shoot. |

| Kimber SS Gold Match II (5/5) | Feb 20, 2007 | Eric & Sue Glover | Largo FL US | |
| I wanted a accurate, smooth .45 to use after receiving my fathers WWII Colt .45 that he left to me. The Colt is loose, as most know, so that it works well in all conditions but it doesn't make for a really accurate pistol, but it definitely got the job done. I wanted to keep his for the sentimental and collector value so I decided not to use it. I got the Kimber .45 and was very happy with it from the minute I received it with the great workmanship done in the building of the weapon and beauty of the finish and I was even happier after I fired the first round. It is a well manufactured weapon and with a small adjustment to the match sites it is hitting right dead in the center of the target at 25 yds. I also added the Hogue wrap around grip so that my wife could shoot it. With the controlled recoil and smooth, light trigger pressure she also was impressed. This is a fantastic .45 | ||||
