| I had my Kimber Custom II w/ Walnut Grips for five (5) years with about 20,000 rounds fired through it and it has performed superbly. In all those 20,000 rounds fired, I had no miss-feeds and only two shells 'hang-up' while ejecting. The two 'hang-ups' were of aluminum casings. I never had a 'hang-up' firing Brass casings. The Kimber Custom II may cost more than a Springfield, or such, but the quality and performance of the Kimber Custom II far surpases the 'track-record' of any other .45 1911 in its price range. I'm thinking of buying a second Kimber Custom II because it is an all-round fantastic workhorse and performer. | ||||
