The Armory now has a limited quantity of Smith & Wesson M&P 45 Shield pistols (w/ thumb safety) under the LE program!

The M&P 45 Shield is the latest in Smith & Wesson's Shield line of single stack, slim-line concealable pistols. Despite being chambered for the powerful .45 ACP cartridge, the 45 Shield features a virtually negligible increase in size compared to the 9 and 40 Shield variants; please note that despite this, it is not suggested that owners attempt to use 9/40 Shield holsters with the 45 Shield.

Also, despite the larger caliber the 45 Shield shares the same capacity as the 40 Shield: 6 rounds, 7 w/ extended baseplate.

Finally, the Shield 45 comes complete with the following features:

- 3 dot iron sights
- Rear 'waved' slide cocking serrations
- Low-profile front 'scaled' slide cocking serrations
- Factory stippling for improved grip retention
- Improved trigger
