My USMC SAM-R

Post by marcw » Fri Dec 31, 2004 10:17 pm

I guess I'll get things started with a few photos of a few of my ARs.

Here's my local copy of the USMC SAM-R. While not exactly like the SAM-Rs in service this does use a match grade, 1:7 twist, KG coated, SS barrel. This particular one is a White Oak while the Marines use the Krieger barrels. Mine also used a LaRue 12.0 FF handguard (Marines use a KAC). The glass is a Leupold MR/T M3...the same that the Marines use.

A few other minor details:
GG&G flip up front sight with bayo lug
Harris bipod with ARMS #32 throw lever
ARMS #22 scope rights

Enjoy!

No, not this rifle. This just has an enhanced RRA carrier.
