hey guys, I just bought the chip mcCormick 8 round magazine for my smith and Wesson 1911 and it doesn't work. says it works on M1911's. It won't even click into the receiver. so if you have the s&w version it won't work. FYI. Thanks, John from Delaware.

Maybe you have a bad one? What 1911 do you use it in?

I bought four C. McCormick shooting star 8 round SS mags for my SA SS mil spec 1911 as well as two of their 10 round power mags. They functioned flawlessly.
