Bobbed hammer on a Colt Agent

Post by norfdet » Sun Jan 15, 2006 7:09 pm

Well the title pretty much says it all. Bill, how much to bob the hammer on a 3rd generation Colt Agent to make it DAO? And, would it require a spring replacement?

I'll make sure he knows about the bobbed hammer - he hadn't even seen the other posts. I think he's gonna kill Scott! Because he spelled his name wrong - Skora is the proper spelling. He'll be in the store today. I'll get him online. Marie

Well if you don't take off too much weight, you don't have to change the spring. Bill knows which gun you're talking about and would probably cost about $45 or more to bob the hammer. Bring the handgun in and Bill says he'll take a look to see if it requires changing the spring, etc. That would cost more of course - the cost of the spring, etc.
