shotgun minishells? Like the .22 shot rounds? If that is what you mean, they are pretty nifty to have for snakes and the like.

I was at a friends farm in western VA a month back. I had purchased a box of these for fun. They really weren't meant for my Walther P22, but worked fine. They aren't very powerful, needed to manually chamber each round, but for snakes or small rodents I think they would be great.

I think you will find that the minishells have a overall length of inch an a half which makes them a little sensitive to the manufacturer and type of shotgun. I've had no problem in my MOSSBERG 500. I just had to get the feel for how fast to pump the action. With the low recoil and increased number of shells in the shotgun it's great for close in self-defense. billg...did you have to make any modifications to the elevator on the Mossy? I heard that a mod on the elevator will get them to feed great. I haven't tried any for that reason.

I am pretty sure that the 870's need a mod.
