Wanting what I can't have again

Why is it, out of all the pistols that are readily available on the market today, i want the one's I can't have? Is asking for a Glock .380acp REALLY too much to ask for? Apparently it is. I understand the point system the Feds set up requires a total of no less than 70 points for a pistol to be legally imported. Ok, I can understand that, but for petes sake, we're talking about a lil .380acp cartridge! Yeah i can get a Bersa that's about the same size as a G25 and G28, but i still want a GLOCK. Here's the thing about it tho, if the pistol WAS readily avaiable here in the States, i probably wouldn't want one.
