6.2 Magnitude Earthquake hits Afghanistan

We just had an earthquake here. Shook the buildings and rattled the walls. The epicenter was about 160 miles from Kabul. We are all ok here in the Kabul area.

We're glad everyone is okay out there. Earthquakes in those places can be very bad. We had a few people here in Va. Beach who say they felt a small tremor the other day. I didn't notice anything but one of the guys who works at The Armory says he felt something like a tremor. It was actually in the paper so I guess I'll have to believe it :)

This was the first earthquake I have been through, hope it will be my last. Not fun when everything is swaying around you and you are not on a ship.

I thought you spent some time in Japan...you haven't been to Japan until you've been in a quake.
