Seasons Over

Post by Bob » Sun May 14, 2006 10:09 pm

Spring gobbler ended yesterday, I killed a really nice bird at 2:00 in the afternoon, it was my second bird for the year.

The first bird I got was small, but the second was 23 lbs, 10.5 inch beard, 1.25 inch spurs, a really good turkey for me.

If there are any other hunters out there I'd like to know how you did. Bob

Congrats and it looks like not a moment too soon. Please let us know how well he cooks up.

I wish I could have made it out this season, especially after taking the hiatus is Japan for the last couple years, but it looks like it'll have to wait until I make it back from the sandbox. I might be able to make Spring season next year.
