Mosin Virgin No More!!!

That's right. I had my Mosin cherry popped. I took out my M-44 and shot it and was thoroughly impressed with the accuracy :-o Even with some pits on the barrel it shot like a new gun. I do need to invest in a pad for it tho. My shoulder is kinda sore from the event.

That was always the bane of the M44 and M38. They are a little rifle for the big round they are shooting. The other oddity about a lot of M44's is that many seem to shoot better with bayonets extended. Apparently, it has something to do with the way they were sighted in.
