IDPA - International Defensive Pistol Association

The local matches are held at Norfolk County Rifle Range. (NCRR) http://www.ncrr.net/
On the 3rd Wednesday of the month there is a Basic IDPA match. Not alot of movement. Usually 4 stages with 12 or less rounds per stage. Fun , fast and a nice place for a starting IDPA shooter to begin.
That is not to say that you cannot just jump right into the regular IDPA matches held the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month.
