I have voted for the lesser of two evils for the last time......There is (No) such animal! Evil is just evil. I have recently joined the Constitutionalist Party. The Republican party has lost it's conservative side and has gone new world order. They profess to be on the side of the gun owners, but only give lip service to us. With the exception of a few like Ron Paul of Texas, who is really a Libertarian, who ran on the GOP ticket, they do nothing to overturn laws on the books that go after law abiding citizens. Check out the Constitution Party web site, and see if they don't resemble the GOP of yesterday. It's time for a real conservative party to represent us. A third party can make a difference, but only if we get off our Bu- tts and get behind the movement. Especially at the lower Gov. levels....City, and county to start with!
Observation.......I have seen the truth and it makes no sense!

"What country before ever existed a century & a half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is it's natural manure."
Thomas Jefferson

Edit:
Need I say what I voted for :)?

That's a nice thought, but it doesn't work. People have to be represented at every level of government. Random people representing beliefs sounds nice... but with over 300M people to represent, it would be too cumbersome.

Think for a second, instead of only 4 - 5 candidates to choose from, you could have 45 or 50 to choose from. Sounds nice, but it just wouldn't work.

At the higher levels of gov't, groups of people work together to pass laws, etc... if there werent' any parties, how would they make group decisions?

...just wouldn't work.
