Do any of the NFA experts at the Armory or on this forum know anything about the new AAC Black Box .45 suppressor? Supposedly, when it is released, it will be one of only two "hearing safe" .45 suppressors on the market. I'm definately considering buying one if it turns out to be as good as they say it is.

Any thoughts/info?

As with a lot of AAC products, you pay quite a bit for the name. I'm sure that a few others will have clones out shortly after they release theirs. While it my be hearing safe, I'm sure that would defintely be with subsonic ammo only. As far as satisfaction, AAC hasn't disappointed me or any of our customers yet (although they are sometimes slow to fill orders).
