Side by Side 12 gage Shot Gun

Post by Castonia1 » Thu Dec 01, 2005 2:10 am

I am interested in a side by side 12 gage shot gun with and without working external hammers but, not in black powder. The shot guns are 12 gage field or stagecoach models. I'm looking for anyone who has experience in shooting side by side. I guess, I might be a little old-fashioned.

When I first began hunting as a youngster, I used a side by side 12 gauge with a barrel as long as a country mile. I loved it though. Fairly accurate with buckshot as well as squirrel shot, and didn't kick very badly. I also have an old "Wing Master", can't remember the company, but it's also a great gun, mainly for birds and clays. Goodluck
