US Army Alaska's ridiculous gun restrictions get worse / help needed

It turns out that a general in the US Army Alaska (USARAK) has banned
his soldiers not only from legally carrying concealed handguns in
Alaska, BUT anywhere those soldiers go, even when on leave here in
Virginia!!! How dare they do this to the unbelievably brave men and
women who are putting their lives on the line for us?!? This really
frosts my cake!
VCDL leadership (of which 5 out of 7 members are retired military)
has already sent a letter to the General *strongly* protesting this
policy. But we are not done yet and need your help.
VCDL needs to know if anyone one this list has a Virginia CHP and is
assigned to USARAK.
If you meet the above criteria, or know someone who does, let me know
as soon as possible.
