Ammo prices??

I knew the ammo prices were going up on everything with the prices of scrap metal at an all time high so sooner or later it had to happen. It sure has cut down on the rounds we were shooting and its almost time to reload again. The 7,62x39 and 223 wolf ammo isn't too bad and the surplus 8mm and 7,62...

The norinco 1911a1 is first 45acp to function properly for me without a stove pipe or jam. My new colts and a new springer would jam and stovepipe right out of the box. It figures that the chinese would make it right. The norinco is one of the best platforms to do a build too the frame is one of the...

I have a few saiga's in .223rem and 308win/nato and there great guns. Nothing can beat the reliability nor the dependability of a Russian AK47. If the 308 saiga was available years ago i would only have purchased them instead of the other 308's.(Cetme) For under $400 for the 308 your getting the bes...

The quality at SA has fallen off drastically and i have read about some of their m1a's being sent back twice to be repaired. Its either a Fulton Armory or picking up a Norinco(Forged receiver) and having Fulton rework it for you. Either way you'll end up with a good M14/m1a. The best bang for the bu...

With the shortage of 7,62x39 ammo with no end in sight I'm hearing rumors from good sources that we may see a $200 price tag for a 1,000rd case by the end of '06. Right now its averaging $3 to $5 a box of 20rds and averaging $140 to $175 a 1,000rd case. Another rumor has it that all ammo is going up...

Swiss k31 7,5mm

With the sales of the swiss k31's at an all time high the chance of finding affordable boxer primed new brass is slim to none now. The surplus swiss 7,5mm ammo isn't cheap either. I did find the lapua swiss brass at $30 for 20rds. While i was looking for new swiss 7,5mm brass i realized it wasn't go...

Nation wide consealed carry permit bill??

Has the nation wide consealed carry permit bill passed yet?

It will make our present home state carry permit so we can carry nationwide just like we drive our cars and boats. It should of happened a long time ago too. I hope it passes soon too.

Splitter good point made my Russian Saiga Sporter loves to eat Wolf ammo in .223rem FMJ. We shoot a lot of Wolf 45acp and Wolf 9mm luger too with out a problem. All the guns operate flawless too with out a hickup. Its always 3 or 4 of us hammering away at the local range too and were shooting about ...

I just received a Swiss K31 in "Fair" condition for $69 from Century Arms. I refinished the stock down to bare wood and steamed the dings/dents out as much as I could. It had very little surface rust and i took steelwool and took some cold bluing and redid the metal were it needed it too. I now have...
