I been getting the shooting bug again but i hate to use any ammo out of my stock without being able to replace it. I'm seeing a lot of; "OUT OF STOCK" all over the internet at different places. I'm not seeing much 9mm makarov ammo at all. I figure i'll stock up on 45acp and 9mm luger were i can. So ...

Used norinco 1911a1....

First i'm a class A machine builder, Machine erector, I also built 155mm howitzers for the US army, besides a lead engineering tech. With all my assembly experiences i wanted to try some mods on a 1911 since i'm sitting here disabled and bored. I can't do much for any length of time. Here's my story...

I would look at www.midwayusa.com and watch for a sale / clearance on LEE reloaders. I purchased a RCBS rockchucker setup way back in the 70's. Its a very good press but there price on the dies is a tad out of my price range(disabled/on SS my $$ is limited). I just purchased all my calibers in the L...

Do you think the prices on the new ammo will ever come down again? Will we see the russian imported 7.62x39 ammo @ $59/1,000rds again? Everytime the ammo prices have climbed beyond our belief they have gone down below what they were before they went up. Does the ongoing war have something to do with...

My Russian Izhmash Saiga in 223 loves to eat wolf 223 ammo all day long.

My CZ's in 9mm luger, 9mm mak love it too.

I don't think i have a gun that doesn't like wolf ammo. :r

If you really want an accurate, reliable and dependable 308 thats affordable too i'd go with the russian izhmash saiga. Its got the AK47 inners plus the chrome lined bore and chamber thats a combination that can't be beat at any price. If you not interested in shooting long range matches i'd grab a ...

Good question. I just purchased an Auto-Ordnance Army WW2 copy 1911a1 in 45acp. I cleaned it and installed a full length guide rod w/18# recoil spring, lubed it up with some moly and off to the range to test fire it. We hammered it with 250rds between the 3 of us and it went thru it all without one ...

Military ammo?

I guess its slim to none on most calibers right now in surplus military ammo. It dried up very quickly. I guess the surplus rifles are the next thing to dryup. Then watch the prices climb. :r
