The XD series is very popular. I have a friend with an XD45, and he loves it. If you want a full sized frame, the 45 is a good choice, and at a good price too.

Make sure you do that at the range.... even blanks can be dangerous... you never know.

Are you talking about a snap cap, which is a practice round that does not fire?

Still like Aguila in .45ACP. Since ditching my Mak, it's the only plinking ammo I use. Not too dirty, not expensive, no FTFs, no FTEs.
