Re: 9mm vs. 45
I'll fess up and say I daily carry a 9mm Walther PPS. The problem I have is that I wear shirts ment for 10 year olds so I need something slim, but also wanted something lightweight. There wasn't really a .45 that fit those wants. Until now anyway, I'm looking real hard at the XDs.

Re: short shotgun shells

If pump it all the way back or or stop mid pump, the tend to roll around in the lifter or flip over. See the notes from Aguilla below in cycling ...

NFA Tracker Time Frames for NFA Items
Wanted to get http://www.nfatracker.com/Default.aspx more popular. It's a site dedicated to tracking NFA timeframes from date of purchase, forms sent, checks cashed, pending date, and approval dates. I encourage people to input their data so we can have accurate time frames. It's easy to start the d...

Re: AGUILA 9MM !!!
I'm not saying this only becuase I work at The-Armory, but hands down this is the best value for target/plinking. I've shot several cases of Aguila in 9mm and .45 without a single problem. The brass is also excellent and popular with reloaders. Some say it's smokey but I can't say that I agree with ...

Re: Which is best for carry?
Since I tend to wear t-shirts ment for 10 year-olds, I am limited to very thin - low profile guns when carrying IWB. I've chosen a Walther PPS in 9mm for my daily carry, you'll be surprised how accurate the little thing is.

Re: 7.62x54R
Light lead core. Even cheaper than the usual steel core surplus and shoots just as good.
