Re: WELCOME TO THE ARMORY

It's been quiet on our forums since Doc passed away a few years ago. We're resurrecting the forum to get the sense of the hanging out at the gun shop banter most are used to in their local stores. Find a topic which interests you and chime in!

Re: Need .223 ammo

Stock on .223 changes constantly. We do get it in every 1-2 weeks, but it sells out in a matter of hours.

I like the design. Too bad the mags are unique to the rifle and a little more expensive than AK mags. Action is actually remotely like a P.38 or a Beretta 92 with a block that drops to lock up the action as opposed to a tilting bolt in a bolt carrier like you see with a FAL or some early Czech gas o...

I know what you mean about ammo. My two expensive monsters are a .50 BMG and a .416 Rem Mag. Fortunately (I guess), Uncle has kept me out of reach of my guns for sometime now, so my stockpile has grown quite large. I may have to shoot some up when I get home from here :D Odd article I read in a gun ...

They're heavy, boxy and feel cheap. But, if you're only after function and price, they're hard to beat. Down side is that extra mags tend to be hard to find. We sold quite a few High-Point carbines and they turned out to be surprisingly good plinking guns.

We do take trades, but you will usually get more bang for your buck if you come in and put on consignment. Consignment fee is 10% of the sales price.

Other great places to check out for presses are the gun shows and eBay (as long as the price doesn't run away with some buyers). I picked up an old Hornady progressive for $100. I actually like it more than my Dillon 550 (a lot more stable believe it or not). I have to agree on the Lee dies--have pl...

The war certainly has a little to do with cutting down on supply a bit. A few other things cutting into supply was the UN getting involved with South Africa after a couple billion rounds of surplus ended up with a German company called Armscor, who instead of de-milling the stuff in accordance with ...

There never were a lot of folks on here to begin with. Would like to see more, but just can't seem to get a lot of folks on here. Doesn't help when half our members are active duty and deployed at any given moment.

You might have to contact S&W direct on that. I vaguely remember something about being able to reduce the pull on it.

The revolver and fixed grip (SIG, 1911, etc.) models seem alright for accuracy. The Glock models seem to move around a bit. While handy, I've never really been a huge fan of lasers (except IR in conjunction with night vision).

It could be models. You might also be seeing some of our cached webpages. A refresh will show our current online prices. You'll have to call for our in-store prices. LE/Mil pricing is also different as are options with each model (Glock or Trijicon Night Sights, etc.).

As with a lot of AAC products, you pay quite a bit for the name. I'm sure that a few others will have clones out shortly after they release theirs. While it my be hearing safe, I'm sure that would defintely be with subsonic ammo only. As far as satisfaction, AAC hasn't disappointed me or any of our ...

Enemy at the Gates for Mosin's. There was a movie out a while ago (more of an indy flick) about the Winter War.

Not a lot of Enfield stuff unless you find an older World War II movie.
