Maybe you have a bad one? What 1911 do you use it in?

I bought four C. McCormick shooting star 8 round SS mags for my SA SS mil spec 1911 as well as two of their 10 round power mags. They functioned flawlessly.

I have to agree. I have a couple CZ82's and they are outstanding. I also have a rare CZ83 in Mak caliber with a nickle satin finish. It shot perfect too. But it and the near perfect 82 are safe queens for now. Too nice to use. One of the 82's had some marks in the paint, so I turned it into a carry ...

I have a XD45 service model that I bought from the Armory a couple years ago. It has been flawless. It is the easiest to use well pistol I have ever handled. The reaction I get from my friends that I have let try it at the range is usually "Oh my gawd!". :D Comfortable, ergonomic, accurate, pretty g...

I've had a few range trips now. It's great practice ammo!
Shoots well in my XD45 as well as my PT745.
I've have to get more next time I come by your shop!

Cool! I have a couple SKS's too. Those are great rifles. Functionally flawless too. I see the board has been quiet this summer. I'm working on my fourth AK build now. (I built a Romy, M70 and a Polish UF too. All 922r compliant.)This'll be a Yugo M70 with a extra long 23.5" American made barrel from...

I'm an old fan of the 1911 45's since using them aboard the sub I was on 25 years ago. (SSN689) I went into the Armory back in March to buy a 1911 style 45. I walked out with a XD45 service model. (4") Since then I have totally lost the urge to get a 1911. The XD just works that well for me. It's a ...

I've had great luck with Georgia arms ammo too. I've used up about 2k rounds of Wolf this past year in my AKM and SKS's. Only one problem. One primer came off after firing and landed on the ejector rail and kept the bolt from going home while feeding the next round. Just took a second to clear. In t...

I've read many good comments about the Aguilla .45 ammo elsewhere. When I saw you guys had it in the store for under $10 a box I got 5 boxes. I'll let you know how it runs in the XD and the Taurus PT745 next week after a range trip. BTW, The XD45 I got from y'all in March is just the finest .45 I ha...

I'm on my third flat build right now using rivets. It's not difficult to make a rivet crusher for the front trunnion from a bolt cutter. Just a couple hours work. You can buy or build the fixtures to allow you to crush the other rivets in a 12 ton press.

That Saiga looks great by the way!

New guy on board

I've been a customer of the Armory since last year when I got back into shooting. They're great folks there and I'm usually in there every few weeks getting stuff. This was the first time I looked for their web site though. Pretty damn good site! I can see the board is a bit slow. Summer doldrums I ...
