lovemymuzzleloaders
I'm a member of the N-SSA, look it up cause it's hard to explain, but I have a replica .58 Zouave and a .58 Parker Hale carbine, with which I competitively shoot and hunt. I happen to also be from Southampton county, the only county in Virginia without a muzzleloading season of any kind. Lucky me! A...

not an avid turkey hunter
I've bagged a gobbler on thanksgiving day a couple years ago, but don't have time during regular season due to school and work schedule. After I graduate college I'll prolly get into it. Seems like one of the most intense hunts because the birds are so perceptive and cautious about everything. Good ...

Some experience
When I first began hunting as a youngster, I used a side by side 12 gauge with a barrel as long as a country mile. I loved it though. Fairly accurate with buckshot as well as squirrel shot, and didn't kick very badly. I also have an old "Wing Master", can't remember the company, but it's also a grea...

I know exactly what you mean.
I picked up the Marlin 917V a few months back, ordered the 6-18X40 BSA Sweet 17 scope, and now have as you say, " a tack driver". Once mounted I attempted sighting in, but couldn't get the bullet on a 6ft by 4 ft paper at 100 yrds. Finally I moved up to 25 yards, and with the windage at its extreme,...

Limited to concealed carry in my mind.
I have a CCW and am a college student. Lately there have been robberies and shootings around campus, so I have been carry 24/7 on campus for a while. Being around so many people, especially in a class room atmosphere, I feel it is better for me to conceal, but it is extremely limiting to my choice o...

IT's Great!
I have the new XD45 and I love it. So much better than the Rossi revolver I've been lugging around.

Overall satisfactory.
I just purchased the 45ACP XD package the other day, but it only came with the two mags as advertised. I'd really like to have three though because of the double mag holster. I'm not very happy with the holsters that come with the kit though. The pistol holster is loose on a normal size belt and ten...

Any Extra Mags Available?
Anyone know where to get an extra mag for the new Springfield Armory XD 45ACP? I know it comes with two, but it also comes with the double mag holster, making you able to carry three total mags.

Special Permit or License Required?
Does anyone know if a special license or permit is required to purchase a handgun within the city of VA Beach? I seem to have heard before that a license or something has to be obtained from the VA Beach police force or the jail? Anyone know anything about this? Thanks for your help.

Define "Hot Pepper"
Eat two Habenero peppers back to back then complain. Been there, done that, never again. Goodluck with any future run-ins with hot peppers.

Best Concealment Holster?
I am in the process of purchasing a Kimber Custom Stainless II fullsize and want a holster with the snap strap between the hammer and the gun itself. I am debating between choosing a paddle style holster or a dual belt loop holster. I will be taking the holster and gun off and putting them on regula...
