454 Casull 250gr JHP Winchester Box (20 rds) .454 Casull is one of Dave's favorite calibers to shoot. Out of his Ruger Super Redhawk, it tends to kick a little more vigorously than his .44 Mag Super Redhawk, but the extra power leaves a much better impression, especially against bowling pins at 50 yards. While the .44 knocks them down with authority, the .454 actually drives them up the hill a couple feet! Dave's passion for the .454 means we have to stock this caliber and keep our prices down so that everyone can enjoy this round. Our featured load is the Winchester X454C3 load with a 250-grain Jacketed Hollow Point. The recoil is quite manageable and the round is well suited for hunting and "affordable" plinking (by comparison to some of the other .454 loads). |
