about-this-caliber-banner.jpg

About this caliber: Designed by Remington in 1964, the 223 Remington is one of the most common rifle calibers used by Americans today. Available in bullet weights ranging from 38gr all the way up to 90gr and heavier - the 223 Remington offers a massive range of applications due to its various difference weights and powder loads. This gives 223 Ammo a place for hunters, target shooters, law enforcement, and even military. 223 is the most popular caliber for the AR-15 platform of rifles and continues to dominate the market as the caliber of choice for it. The 5.56 NATO cartridge that our military uses along with several NATO countries, was derived from the 223 Remington.

Great Results 09/22/2016

The array of selections in most all product lines is exceptional as well as the respective unit pricing is aggressively competitive. The ease of browsing through the catalog and pricing an order, was very pleasing. The order process was painless and quick. The shipment arrived ahead of the projected delivery date which is great.

The product ordered was an exceptional value and appears to be excellent quality.

Great Deal! Fast Shipping! 01/21/2011
By David P
Like most others, I was semi-cautious about this bulk 223 remington ammo purchase because of the low sale price. It was the lowest I could find for this Ammo, btw. I thought maybe they were re-packed reloads or something. (they weren't) However, I was pleasantly appeased after shooting my first 10 rounds. I shot about 200 rds in first session out of my custom tac sniper AR and was easily punching out the bull (~1") @ 100yds. These NATO rds. are nice and hot so I'm eager to see how they will do @ up to 500yds. Also, these rnds are no dirtier in an AR than any other I've used. I avoid old super-cheap ammo as it is. Another note is that The-Armory shipped very fast. I got everything 3 days after my order. Overall, I'm very happy and have returned to buy another case...as well as some mags.

good ammo 09/14/2007

I was sceptical about this bulk 223 remington ammo at first when i ordered it, but when i took it to the range that all went away. I shot a 1/2group at 50 yds. Very consistant! Tore the bull out of a target! Many people say that this ammo iss dirty and yes it is but if you are buying 500 rounds then you are doing some serious shooting and should be cleaning your rifle everytime any way. I put 100 rounds through my M4 and it wasnt that dirty, not as much as i thought with reading everyones comments about it being dirty ammo. It's non-corrosive so thats good enough for me. Alot of people will only put high end ammo through their rifle and yeah thats greatm but the dirt is not goign to harm the rifle since its non-corrosive. Good buy, will deff buy more when it becomes available
