| KNOCK DOWN Inc. (4/5) | Nov 10, 2005 | Anonymous | US | |
| This round is knock down power. At a range of two hunderd plus yards this round took a 150 lbs. doe off her feet. Reliable perfomance on the next shot as well. I would not hesitate to use this round on almost any game. | ||||
| I want to try this round (3/5) | Dec 24, 2005 | ALLen | Gallitzin Pa US | |
| The S/B 7.62/24mm round with a 180 grain soft nose, is an fine hunting load. I have used a 209 grain Russian load bullet and shot a large doe running, and put her down. One hit in the shoulder ,at 75 yards. Too much bullet and to much damage to flesh. A 180 grain will be my next hunting round by, S-B. | ||||
| Moose in Pontiac county (5/5) | Jan 8, 2007 | S.R.Scott | Ottawa On CA | |

Shot a bull moose (3 and half years old) square in the middle shoulder a slightly over 100 yards with the 180 Gr. sp S&B. It went through both shoulders exiting high on the other side....could put my whole index inside the channel wound...the Moose staggered about 10 yards before crumpling over, feets in the air....;-) Really it reminds me of my 30-06 180 gr Core-Lokt SP load in performance. My Mosin-Nagant model 44 carbine is excellent also! Serge from Ottawa, Canada. |
