Traded a Mossberg 590 for a slightly used Kimber Ultra Carry II w/night sights. Put 350 rounds downrange, Remington Golden Sabers. Shot at 25 yds, 15 yds, & 7 yds. 50 rounds per cycle, going from 25-7yds. (FBI qualification course) Usually hit paper about 40 times. Maybe 25 rounds on target w/ 4-5 in the black. Gun can shoot straight but it is a bit of a handfull. Approximately 10-15 minor malfunctions all due to the horrible magazines Kimber provides. They are trash, throw them out immediatly. Overall tight small package. Short range use, inside 15yds. |

| I've shot many different handguns but the ultra carry 2 is my favorite! It is deadly accurate up to 15 yards and conceals very well. | ||||

| I do not have a problem with how the weapon shoots. Grouping at the effective range is very good. I don't believe we carry a compact to use at 50 yards? It is accurate enough to hit what you're aiming at at that distance, but most confrontations take place within 21 feet (7 yards or less). I switched to Chip McCormick match grade magazines. The magazine follower has to be modified or the last round will feed like a Poseidon missle. Carrys well, shoots well, performs as designed. | ||||

| I'm a police officer in a large Missouri city, and was searching for a good reliable/compact/light weight/powerful back-up pistol. After researching pistols on the internet, and talking with people much more knowledgable than myself, including our department armorer, I chose the Kimber Ultra Carry II, in blue, with wooded grips, and 3-dot fixed night sights. I've put approximately 250 rounds of ball ammo thru it, with no jams or malfunctions thus far. For a small pistol, it's amazingly accurate at 20-25 yards. Statistically, most shootings occur within 10-15 feet of one's target. So this pistol fits the bill. | ||||

| This is the first Kimber I have owned. I could not believe how great this gun is. I shot 100 rounds through the gun today. I can't believe the accuracy of a gun this short. I was also impressed with how little the gun kicks. This was quite surprising. Great trigger as well. | ||||

| I have this weapon without the sights, which makes it that much more concealable. Smoothest shooter I have, even one-handed. I have a full size 1911 that isn't this smooth. | ||||

These short barreled guns MUST be gripped correctly... or FTE (Stovepipe) will occur... This may be the cause of the "six jams" in 250 rounds... muzzle flip must be controlled. I have a LEO friend who has carried his fore about five years... and had zero problems... he shoots a lot and he he is very good. I currently carry a Kimber Crimson II and I am happy with it... |

| Right out of the box,This pistol started Cranking them out shooting golden sabers,not even one jam occured.I had a little field stripping problem,due to tight tolerances, but got passed all that.this is my third Kimber,such a fine piece of machinery,with all this feedback im hearing,I sure hope i never run into these problems,and ive only put 250 rounds into my breakin period.I love my Kimber ultra carry 2.Good luck to those who have their problems,lets hope customer service gets better from what ive been reading/hearing . | ||||

| I have several handguns and find the kimber to be accurate only when at the range shooting shot after shot off a bench at 15 yards or less. Beyond 15 yards the shot placement is all over the place within a 12" group. For personal protection and concelled carry the gun is OK for accurancy within 15 yards but becomes questionable beyond that! Remember - a lesser caliber - more accurate shot placement - is better then a larger caliber in this situation. Bersea makes a handgun that is more accurate and at a third of the price of a kimber. Kimber makes a good handgun overall but in my opinion is overrated for the price you pay. Note! On a positive I have fired over 2000 rounds with this handgun and have had very few jammed rounds. At the ones jammed were with reloaded ammo. | ||||
