| All in all, I am pleased with my purchase of 3 years, but I have had several problems with it. The finish started to wear after less than 5 months; The ambidextrious safety snapped one day at the range. I have no idera how that happened. I replaced it with a Wilson and has worked like a gem. It does have some feeding problems even with premium ammo. It miss fed enough times that I never carried it for duty. I should have went with the CDP and I will soon. | ||||

| I've had mine for about seven years and have dumped a few thousand rounds of everything imaginable through it. Thank Kimber for saving the 1911 from extinction. | ||||

| I've had this pistol for about two years now and I'm very happy I purchased it. I bought the Kimber up in Northern California and shot hundreds of rounds through it in the cold mountains of Mendocino. I brought it down to the dryer and warmer climate of Southern California without any problems or issues. I served 4 years in the U.S. Army Infantry and trust me, I didn't baby the pistol. I bought it because I wanted the best 1911 technology could possibly give me. The answer was the Kimber Custom Tactical 2. This gun is tough and accurate. After shooting about 300 rds. of ball ammo, I switched to hollowpoints shooting hundreds more without any jams or misfeeds. Look, if you want the best 1911, it's a Kimber or a Springfield. Some of Springfield's parts are made in Brazil though (I don't know why, ask them). I chose the ALL AMERICAN MADE Kimber. | ||||

| Best 45 auto 1911 I've ever had, very accurate and dependable. Better than my Colt 1911. | ||||
