| I have the Green Mountain Barrel that is especially made for this round, twist 1:9. At 50 yards it I get groups of 1 inch. the only problem the ammo is not that consistent, you get some flyers and I have miss feeds with my 10/22 as well. It is an awesome pest round, I have destroyed many racoons. | ||||
| great. (5/5) | Mar 7, 2009 | Anonymous | ||
| i liked the SSS a ton. not good accuracy at 50 yards at all (from what i saw). was all over the place. but at 25, it was dead on. (the 25 is fine for me. i will be getting a new 22 soon and 25 yards is about the farthest i would ever see a rabbit walking through a field). only 2 or 3 keyholed at most. the damage to the back of the board was a bit more than the stinger. huge 2" across holes. it wasnt as quiet as everyone said. about as loud as a regular 22 bullet. it smelled odd. not good or bad, but just odd. sorta sweet. it would hardly jam (most of the time was when a stinger followed it in the clip) other than that, it cycled perfectly. | ||||
| Could Probably Kill a Deer (5/5) | Mar 5, 2009 | The Taxciter | Virginia Beach VA US | |
| IF you made a perfect brain stem shot at less than 50 yards. But I don't recommend trying that since all .22 caliber is illegal for large game in Va. Very good ammo if you have a 10/22 with a 9:1 twist barrel and hunt small game. The ideal would be a bolt action .22 with 9:1 twist barrel since the SSS tends to eject while still burning. Quieter than some pellet guns when shot from a suppressed Ruger .22 rifle. More recoil than any 22LR in my experience. | ||||
| Best Low Noise 22 (5/5) | Nov 7, 2008 | Terry Fisher | OK US | |
| The best low noise 22 round because the larger bullet has a more lethal impact when compared to all other low noise 22’s. I’ve had one shot kills on squirrels and raccoons. With this 22 round you can even feel a slight recoil | ||||
| Aguila SSS (5/5) | Jul 20, 2008 | Mark | ||
| Feeds and functions well in my Walther P-22. Very quiet, but a large bullet with a lot of impact power. | ||||

Very good ammo I shot a couple of squirrles with it it was awsome 1 shot kills and the 1 I hit in the back end and it still killed it in 1 shot. I could also hit soda cans every time out to 100 yards and the ammo could do better if I did better. Over all very good ammo for the price. |
