I'm a Deputy Sheriff and a firearms instructor. I have shot many M-16's in the Navy and Instructed many people in the use of this fabulous weapon. This is of course the civilian version of the same weapon. The research that went into making the M4 took years of work and it paid off. The M4 is the most desired of all M-16 variations. Olympic arms is the only AR-15 I would consider owning. The company does a great job, very tight, very accurate. After battle sighting mine in I shot around 600 rounds within the next few weeks to break it in. I ran perfect until I used some Sellier and Bellot ammo through it (Don't use this ammo!) It jammed in ways that I have never seen not just stove pipes either I mean weird jams! It was the ammo. I only shot one box of this junk..and went back to the very clean and perfect functioning Federal ammo. This ammo is great and very clean burning. Anyway..the Oly is a great rendition of the military version. I highly reccomend this rifle! My life may depend on it that's how much I reccomend it! Get one and you won't be sorry. Just run it with a lot of lubrication to brake it in and since it is tight keep it pretty well lubed for perfect function. It's a great rifle!!!! |
