G-21 It is what it is - Good Self Defense (5/5) Mar 26, 2009 Michael Rowak New Britain Co US
First off - this is a great gun. Light weight and super accurate. It has claims that the grip is too large. I do not have an issue with this - and it now comes in SF, which is a slightly smaller frame for those that do. I shot both frames and love them both. Perfect gun for self defense - and 13 rounds stock. Especially if you have to discharge in the home, which is why you get a home defensive pistol in the first place - use any factory hollow points or hydra-shocks for this reason - you don't want this bullet going through your house (or other loved ones behind/aft of your target) - you want this bullet to be stopped by sheet rock and wood in case you miss under stress. Don't be turned off by the other reviews from the guy who likes his .50 AE Desert Eagle. You don't ever want to shoot the .50AE inside. Yes it's a nice gun to own, but are you going to war in Afganistan or Iraq next week? Need to shoot at any tanks recently? That gun (art-work beautiful that it is) is too heavy to carry all day, really long (6 or 10 incher), about 4 times the cost of the Glock, and got only 7 shots at best, maybe 6 if he's got the .50AE single stacked. I think a fully loaded AR-15 is lighter. Unless of course you're "The Terminator." Stick with the Glock - no pistol is as economical to buy, accurate to shoot out of the box, with high cap mags around $25.00 bucks each, and very very easy to field strip.
