The most powerful auto pistol round- actually slightly exceeds the venerable .357 Magnum in energy. Only alot more pleasant to shoot. Grip is slightly large for my hand. Typical Glock robust construction. Finish on slide is like teflon- only tougher. EZ fieldstrip. Safety is the best. Only a-holes that can't learn to keep their finger out of the trigger guard unless they are shooting will have a problem with this. A function of training and habit. I picked up a Stainless compensated barrel in 40 S&W for $90 at the gunshow. Best of both worlds! I can shoot cheap .40 reloads for half of the cost of the 10mm. Also this particular barrel is slighly more accurate that the factory Glock barrel. Go figure. If I had to pare down to only ONE HANDGUN, this would be it! The max 10mm loads will defeat most body armor, and you could kill a deer easily with this. Think about it... |
